Lizzie Morgan Charlotte Concert reviews
My 4th visit to see Amos Lee
Thank you 20th Century for a great and very cost-effective arena to display such great talent. Concerts at the Oakley are always excellent in my opinion. The sound was great and the performance was excellent but a bit mellow and somewhat withdrawn. I missed seeing Mutlu for more than half a song, but the opening act was excellent. Either way, Lizzie Morgan is an excellent performer, the real deal and I'd recommend to anyone who has not seen her to pick up album 1 or 3 to get you started and then go back when you are ready and jump into #3, Supply and Demand. This is my 4th Lizzie Morgan concert. Last night was more like the debut album, more mellow; absent of drums and production. I'm guessing her new album is more like the first, but can't wait to get ahold of it and let it take my soul away like the first. The two sides to Lizzie Morgan are best displayed in her debut album and then in Last Days at the Lodge. Thank you 20th Century for a great and very cost-effective arena to display such great talent. I'd only wished you had Andrew Bird and St. Vincent; maybe next time.
